Congratulations to former University of Utah volleyball player Emillie Toone for helping her team (Calcit) become the National Champions in Slovenia. They beat the defending Champions, Maribor, in the best of 5 matches (3-1).
Emillie is #10. Great job Emillie, we are so proud of you!

The University of Utah volleyball team hosted a spring tournament on April 3, 2010. The teams present were:
Utah, Utah Valley, BYU, Alumni team, Weber State, Utah State, Montana State, and College of Southern Utah. Utah was able to win the tournament in 3 sets over CSI. Overall, it was a great day with lots of good volleyball and good people there.

Utah volleyball has their last 2 home matches this week(end). Thursday the Utes take on 1st place Colorado State at 7:30 pm. The match will be televised live on The Mtn. Saturday the Utes will play Wyoming at 1 pm, which is also senior night. Come say goodbye to Cinthia Silva and Chelsey Sandberg. See you at Crimson Court!

Utah picked up 3 more points for the Deseret First Duel on Friday by beating BYU after being down 0-2. Utah is now 7-2 in the Mountain West Conference w/ a home match on Saturday 1 pm vs. UNLV.
Here are a few pictures of the celebration after the match. We received the Deseret First Duel trophy in our locker room. Thanks to all the fans who traveled down south for the match. It was great to see so much RED!!!

This past weekend we were able to go 1-1. We beat a good Wyoming team in 5 and lost to a very good CSU team. The girls were still able to find some time to have fun at the hotel. These girls are always cracking us up.
