UTES win BIG over Byu 3-2

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE UTES!!!

Utah picked up 3 more points for the Deseret First Duel on Friday by beating BYU after being down 0-2. Utah is now 7-2 in the Mountain West Conference w/ a home match on Saturday 1 pm vs. UNLV.

Here are a few pictures of the celebration after the match. We received the Deseret First Duel trophy in our locker room. Thanks to all the fans who traveled down south for the match. It was great to see so much RED!!!

This team is great. Come watch them in action tomorrow @ BYU 7 pm. The match is also televised live on BYU Television.

We got some great news yesterday that we can't share with you just yet....but it's coming so look out for it. You will know it when you see it!!!

This past weekend we were able to go 1-1. We beat a good Wyoming team in 5 and lost to a very good CSU team. The girls were still able to find some time to have fun at the hotel. These girls are always cracking us up.

Beth Launiere 400 Wins

Beth Launiere, head coach of the University of Utah volleyball team picked up her 400th win on September 25, 2009 vs BYU. :) The Utes won 3-2 over a good BYU team. Congratulations to Beth and all the student-athletes and coaches who helped her with those 400 wins. Beth is back to work as she now has 402 wins.




Utah is back in action with a match vs conference opponent TCU on Thursday, October 8th at Crimson Court, 7 pm. Utah plays again vs. UNM on Saturday, October 10th at 1 pm. That match is our Breast Cancer awareness match so wear pink! Hope to see you there.

UTAH wins 3-0 over UNLV
