SPRING is HERE!
The University of Utah volleyball team hosted a spring tournament on April 3, 2010. The teams present were:
Utah, Utah Valley, BYU, Alumni team, Weber State, Utah State, Montana State, and College of Southern Utah. Utah was able to win the tournament in 3 sets over CSI. Overall, it was a great day with lots of good volleyball and good people there.

Served as team captain at Boulder High School … set high school record with 401 digs during senior season … posted career-high with 41 digs in five-set match against Horizon H.S. … three-year letterwinner … played club for Juggernaut Volleyball … served as team captain for four years … was named MVP during 15’s year … honor roll student during all four years of high school … carries a 4.2 GPA … started club for environment and community called ClassAction that spread to three other high schools ... mother, Wendi Hill, was an NCAA Women’s Skiing champion at Colorado University … father, Matt Dyroff, played semi-pro hockey for the Dayton Bombers.

Fun Fun Fun

Utah volleyball has their last 2 home matches this week(end). Thursday the Utes take on 1st place Colorado State at 7:30 pm. The match will be televised live on The Mtn. Saturday the Utes will play Wyoming at 1 pm, which is also senior night. Come say goodbye to Cinthia Silva and Chelsey Sandberg. See you at Crimson Court!

UTES win BIG over Byu 3-2
Utah picked up 3 more points for the Deseret First Duel on Friday by beating BYU after being down 0-2. Utah is now 7-2 in the Mountain West Conference w/ a home match on Saturday 1 pm vs. UNLV.
Here are a few pictures of the celebration after the match. We received the Deseret First Duel trophy in our locker room. Thanks to all the fans who traveled down south for the match. It was great to see so much RED!!!
